Role Overview

AWS is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to support digitally native customers.

The role designs scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems and accelerate AWS adoption.

The position partners with sales to drive revenue growth and owns the technical relationship between AWS and assigned customers.

The role is based in UAE, Dubai / Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and migrate applications, software, and services on AWS in partnership with sales.
  • Execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
  • Recommend solutions for security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Educate customers on AWS value and lead deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment.
  • Conduct customer training sessions and share best practices across the solutions architect community.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation and consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience architecting Linux/Unix and Windows solutions covering servers, load balancing, high availability and disaster recovery, and storage.
  • Experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.

Candidate Profile

  • The ideal candidate has a proven track record in software or technology sales or consulting.
  • The role requires strategic thinking and the ability to connect technology with measurable business value.
  • Experience as a systems engineer or architect and a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions are advantageous.
