Role overview
AWS seeks an experienced Solutions Architect with technical depth and strong interpersonal skills.
The role partners with customers, AWS Sales, and AWS teams to design scalable cloud architectures and accelerate AWS adoption.
The position is based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi and requires 25% to 50% travel across Middle East countries.
Key job responsibilities
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
- Help customers build and migrate applications, software, and services on AWS.
- Educate customers and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployments.
- Deliver customer training sessions and share best practices with the Solutions Architect community.
- Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
- Build relationships with senior technical customer stakeholders and act as a technical liaison with AWS engineering and support teams.
Basic qualifications
- At least 7 years of IT development or implementation and consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- At least 4 years of experience in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a development or operations perspective.
