About the Role
Worley is seeking a Senior QC Engineer for an Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves championing safety culture, managing quality assurance/control during EPC/FEED phases, conducting audits, and ensuring contractor compliance.

Responsibilities
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve Quality issues during EPC/FEED phase
- Coordinate with Engineers in different disciplines during Construction phase for Quality Management activities
- Ensure Project quality procedures are established, maintained and implemented by EPC/FEED Contractor
- Schedule and conduct Project internal quality audits on EPC/FEED Contractor activities
- Issue Audit Reports, monitor and administer closure of actions
- Detect, identify and record quality problems and issue Project Non Conformity Reports (NCR) and Observations
- Review and approve EPC/FEED Contractor's quality documents
- Ensure calibration system for inspection, measurement and test measuring equipment is in accordance with contract requirements
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plan and witness major activities
- Monitor performance of third party Inspectors assigned for inspection activities at Vendor's premises
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions raised under NCR's are implemented
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- At least 5 years experience in GCC region (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- PMC and ADNOC experience required
- Offshore project experience required

Responsibilities

- Coordination with Engineers in different disciplines during the Construction phase for their tasks related to Quality Management activities.
- Ensuring that the Project quality procedures are established, maintained and implemented by the EPC / FEED Contractor.
- Advising the team on questions of quality, collaborating in the definition of objectives and pursuing them.
- Scheduling and conducting Project internal quality audits on EPC / FEED Contractor activities.
- Issuing Audit Reports, monitoring and administering the closure of actions.
- Witnessing Quality Audits conducted by the EPC / FEED Contractor.
- Detecting, identifying and recording quality problems and accordingly issuing Project Non Conformity Reports (NCR) and Observations to Project Management and the EPC / FEED Contractor.
- Reviewing and approving EPC / FEED Contractor’s quality documents e.g. Review/Approve Project Quality plan.
- Review/Approve Quality Control Procedures.
- Ensure EPC / FEED Contractor’s QA/QC personnel are appropriately qualified.
Qualifications And Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- PMC & ADNOC experiences are Required.
- Offshore project experience is Required.
