Responsibilities
- Build positive working relationships with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors
- Proactively resolve performance, scope, cost and schedule issues with the Client as they arise
- Identify and achieve the optimal technical and commercial position within the job context
- Monitor design activities, interdisciplinary data flow and communications
- Responsible for design basis, design scopes and subsequent performance
- Manage technical evaluations, risks identification, mitigation & control, project deliverables review, scope control & managing project variations, recovery planning, construction, commissioning, & project handover
- Prepare Project Scope Statement
- Ensure design reviews and technical review meetings are scheduled, well documented and actions closed out
- Achieve client approvals without delay or rework
- Consistently achieve above average client satisfaction rating for technical delivery
- Management of disciplines to achieve scope completion at or below budget
- Prompt claims identification, quantification and justification provided to project manager
Requirements
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is mandatory
- Extensive work experience in onshore projects at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
- Well developed engineering planning skills
- Mandatory experience in Pre FEED and FEED phase
- Strong experience in brownfield environment

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement.
- Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or undertaking the same will be an advantage.
Industry Specific Experience
- Extensive work experience in onshore projects at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Must have experience of working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Must have well developed engineering planning skills.
- Preferably Middle East experience.
- Experience working with an international engineering consultancy.
- Experience in interface management with Statutory authorities and external stakeholders.
- Strong experience in brownfield environment.
- Mandatory experience in Pre FEED and FEED phase.
