Job Summary

Engineering and Contractor Coordination

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities with project objectives, EPCC contract requirements, and project procedures.
• Track engineering deliverables, highlight deviations, and support recovery actions.
• Review contractor datasheets, drawings, specifications, vendor documents, and fabrication schedules.
• Verify technical submissions against approved specifications and contract requirements.
• Coordinate QA/QC inspections and expediting at vendor and subcontractor facilities.
• Follow up fabrication progress and support resolution of NCRs and fabrication defects.

Construction and Commissioning

• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of equipment and systems.
• Participate in site inspections to verify technical and quality compliance.
• Support mechanical completion, punch list generation, classification, and closure.
• Monitor engineering deliverables against the commissioning-driven schedule.
• Support training and technical readiness for commissioning and start-up activities.
• Coordinate spare-parts reviews, tie-in readiness, and interface issue resolution.

Civil and Structural Scope

• Oversee design of foundations, buildings, pipe racks, and structural steel.
• Review geotechnical reports, structural calculations, and construction drawings.
• Ensure compliance with seismic, regulatory, and EPCC contract requirements.
• Support design changes, technical queries, field notes, and project change initiation.

Risk, Compliance and Reporting

• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, QRA, and 3D model reviews and ensure action-item closure.
• Track engineering risks and contribute to the project risk register.
• Maintain records of technical reviews, NCR resolutions, inspections, and interface coordination.
• Provide inputs to monthly progress reports and dashboards and support audits and lessons learned.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience, including three years in major projects in a similar capacity within the fertilizer industry.
• Good exposure to civil or structural engineering design software and international standards.
• Strong project management, leadership, and team management skills.
