Job Summary
The Digital Office Manager leads the organization’s digital evolution and oversees the lifecycle of digital projects from conception to realization.
The role reports to the Chief Technical Officer and collaborates with stakeholders to identify operational challenges, emerging technologies, and processes for business integration.
The position shapes and executes digital strategy, guides teams, and aligns digital technologies with business objectives and operational efficiency.
Location and Contract
- The role is based in Doha, Qatar.
- The contract type is an indefinite contract.
Key Accountabilities
- Drive QAFCO’s digital vision and strategy and steward the digital initiatives roadmap.
- Identify digital opportunities and innovative solutions based on strategic and operational challenges.
- Oversee digital budgets, spend plans, synergies, and value realization across functions.
- Oversee digital use case delivery from design and prototyping through full-scale rollout.
- Develop digital expertise through a center of excellence model.
- Build partnerships with local and global innovation ecosystems.
- Advise executives on digital topics and represent QAFCO at relevant events and associations.
- Manage the innovation portfolio and pipeline and lead teams delivering digital products.
- Monitor strategy and roadmap implementation, identify risks, and seek mitigation measures.
- Ensure ideation activities comply with quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in digital implementation, innovation, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience is required.
- Oil and gas or petrochemical industry experience is preferred.
- Project management certification such as PMP is advantageous.
