SR. PROJECT ENGINEER

Role Overview

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• At least 12 years of experience in engineering and project management.
• At least 12 years of experience executing infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrated project lifecycle management experience from concept through handover.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• A master's degree or higher qualification in engineering or project management is preferred.
• Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management institution is preferred.
• Oil and gas project execution experience is preferred.
• Experience across feasibility studies, concept optimization, FEED, and EPIC is preferred.

Project Leadership and Delivery

• Lead assigned project teams in providing project management services from initiation through completion and handover.
• Ensure execution follows approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Planning, Cost, and Controls

• Prepare and maintain project execution plans and QHSE plans.
• Monitor planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, reporting, change management, and approvals.

Engineering, Procurement, and Tendering

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and resolve design and technical issues.
• Prepare tender documentation, evaluate bids, review contractor submissions, and support tender recommendations.

Risk, Contracts, and Stakeholders

• Maintain risk registers and coordinate with end users, authorities, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders.
• Evaluate and resolve variations, contractor claims, and disputes.

Governance and People Development

• Contribute to company procedures, standards, and guidelines.
• Mentor and support Qatari developees through on-the-job training and guidance.
