- Lead and coordinate assigned project teams to deliver full project management services from inception through completion and handover
- Manage projects in both onshore and offshore environments in compliance with company standards
- Prepare, implement, and maintain project execution plans and QHSE plans
- Participate in and monitor project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, contract administration, progress reporting, change management, and gate approval processes
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve technically sound and cost effective project designs
- Ensure timely resolution of technical and engineering issues
- Participate in preparation of tender packages and support tendering process including technical evaluation and review of contractor submissions
- Develop, maintain, and update project risk registers
- Interface closely with end users, government authorities, joint venture partners, and other stakeholders
- Participate in evaluation and resolution of project variations, contractor claims, and disputes
- Contribute to review and development of company procedures and guidelines
- Mentor and coach Qatari Developees
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering and project management
- Minimum 12 years of experience in execution of civil engineering projects
- Strong leadership and team building capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective presentation and report writing skills
- Ability to lead and manage meetings with multiple stakeholders
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills

Role Overview
- The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams to deliver civil engineering projects from early development through execution, completion, and handover.
- The role covers onshore and offshore projects and requires strong leadership, technical coordination, and project management expertise to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in an Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or higher qualification in engineering or project management.
- Preferred: Membership in a recognized professional engineering or project management institution (e.g., PMP, PMI, ICE, or equivalent).
Experience Requirements
- Mandatory: Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering and project management.
- Mandatory: Minimum 12 years of experience in execution of civil engineering projects.
- Preferred: Proven experience in engineering coordination with multidisciplinary teams during Feasibility Studies, Concept Optimization Studies, FEED, and EPIC.

- Participate in the evaluation, processing, and resolution of project variations, contractor claims, and disputes.
- Contribute to the review and development of company procedures and guidelines when assigned.
- Mentor and coach Qatari Developees, ensuring effective on the job training and professional development.
