About the Role
Airswift seeks a Senior Construction Supervisor for Electrical & Instrumentation works in oil & gas related industry in Doha. Requires 15+ years experience and Higher National Diploma/Graduate in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and control the site construction/installation of all Electrical & Instrumentation works associated with Building Services and Infrastructure projects
- Liaise and co ordinate with different discipline Supervisors, Projects Engineers, End Users, Asset Holders and other relevant departments
- Assist in Contractor’s mobilization and demobilization
- Review project planning and scheduling during construction phase, identify slippages and assist in optimizing contractor’s resources
- Review construction method statements, pre commissioning procedures and endorse red mark drawings and project dossiers
- Control and endorse work permits for project work and ensure safety regulations are followed
- Inspect construction works and materials in accordance with project quality plans and inspection & test plans
- Attend weekly progress meetings, update daily and weekly construction progress reports, verify contractor's progress statements
- Prepare and categorise punch list in coordination with end users and ensure contractor clears all items
- Coordinate and assist during pre commissioning and commissioning activities
- Initiate Mechanical Completion Certificate and assist in operational and final handover of the building
Requirements
- Higher National Diploma/Graduate in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from an internationally recognized University
- 15 years or more of Construction related experience in Electrical & Instrumentation for Buildings & Infrastructure works in oil & gas related industry
- Sound knowledge of HV/MV/LV network systems, Lighting & Earthing systems, Power system Protections, AC/DC UPS systems, Cathodic Protection systems, Process & Control systems, Fire & Gas systems, BMS/CCTV/PA VA systems, ACS & HVAC control systems
- Experience with FAT/SAT testing & Pre Commissioning/Commissioning works

Qualification
- Higher National Diploma/Graduate in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from an internationally recognized University. Relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction practices will be an added advantage.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
