Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end procurement process for construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to prepare procurement plans
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
- Prepare comparative statements and recommend vendors for management approval
- Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and compliance with contract terms
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets
- Maintain procurement documentation and records
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years of procurement experience within construction or real estate development companies
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and subcontract procurement
- Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and consultants in the UAE market
- Good negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems
