Role Overview

  • The Sr Manager RO Analytics & Operations Research plays a pivotal role in building the commercial data ecosystem.
  • The role develops data driven tools, AI enabled models, and optimization solutions for smarter commercial and revenue management decisions.
  • Reports directly to Revenue Optimisation & Steering leadership.

Strategic Data & Analytics Leadership

  • Define and continuously evolve the Revenue Optimization Data Solution Roadmap.
  • Prioritize high impact initiatives that future proof the RO function.
  • Identify and champion AI, operations research, and optimization use cases.

Commercial Insights & Decision Support

  • Deliver commercially actionable recommendations in real time.
  • Lead the insights team to provide forward looking outlooks.
  • Produce ROI reports, post campaign analyses, and extract learnings.
  • Build tools that accurately track pricing and inventory management performance.

Data Governance & Architecture

  • Govern the ingestion, transformation, and maintenance of commercial data.
  • Ensure the commercial data warehouse is robust, near real time, and aligned with evolving business structures.

Analytics Products & Visualization

  • Oversee the creation and evolution of Power BI dashboards and analytical products.
  • Build evaluation frameworks and deploy smart solutions.
  • Design tools to measure pricing and revenue & volume impact.

Automation & Process Optimization

  • Design and lead automation initiatives across commercial functions.
  • Identify manual processes and partner with Digital Technology Data teams to redesign workflows.

Performance Analysis & Revenue Optimization

  • Work with large datasets to analyze ticketing revenue streams.
  • Identify internal and external trends to support financial and operational planning.
  • Standardize promotional tracking.

Technology Integration

  • Spearhead the deployment of advanced revenue management technologies.
  • Lead cross functional collaboration with BI, DTD, and Digital teams.
  • Champion process transformation to shift focus from manual reporting to strategic insight generation.

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight

  • Analyze global macroeconomic trends, competitive dynamics, and market specific developments.
  • Represent Miral Destination in industry forums related to data, analytics & innovation.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research, Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ year experience in analytics / revenue management or operations research, in airlines, OTAs, or other relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools and storytelling platforms (e.g., Power BI, Python, R) or advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of AI, Data science & operations research capabilities and strong hands on experience of developing models.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to drive results.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi task with strong sense of priorities and attention to detail.
