- Perform project control function including project planning, cost control for the Project as per Project Execution Plan.
- Oversee all project control activities and provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to Project Controls team.
- Ensure baseline schedule follow up and monitoring, performance reporting, baseline change control assessment, risk management, earned value management.
- Advise on application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis).
- Support program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices.
- Support definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and standards.
- Develop integrated project schedule reflecting all interface milestones, availability and need dates, and activity durations.
- Monitor and control program compliance with project contractual obligations.
- Ensure contract, procurement, planning and scheduling activities are performed as per Company requirements.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
- Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for agreed Scope of Work.
- Manage and guide review of Project Baseline Schedule to ensure compliance with Contract Schedule requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a reputable university
- 20+ years of project experience in oil & gas industry
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Experience managing at least 3 EPC mega projects (min $1B each) or one mega project >$5B
- Extensive experience in Offshore Projects
- ADNOC project experience required
- PMC experience required
- PMP or CCP certification preferred
- Full understanding of schedule, cost and risk analysis tools and techniques

Job Purpose
- A Sr. Project control Manager to perform project control function including project planning, cost control for the Project.
- The Sr.Project Controls Manager shall oversee all project control activities and provide leadership, guidance, and supervision.
- Analyse and perform project planning, scheduling and monitoring for the Project to ensure completion to required safety, quality, schedule and cost.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure baseline schedule follow up and monitoring, performance reporting, baseline change control assessment, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
- Advice and consult on application of effective planning techniques and controls.
- Support program integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices.
- Support and advise on definition of Project Controls and Earned Value Management policies, procedures and standards.
- Involve actively in development of integrated project schedule reflecting all interface milestones.
- Monitor and control program compliance with project contractual obligations.
- Ensure contract, procurement, planning and scheduling activities are performed as per Company requirements.
- Support PCM on all contractual and commercial issues.
- Coordinate and attend internal/external project reviews and meetings.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances.
- Ensure project controls processes are consistently applied across the project.
- Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable and recognized university.
- 20+ years of project experience in oil & gas industry with knowledge of preparing and implementing project plans, schedules and cost control.
- Minimum 20+ years of contract experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including minimum 5 years in GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Senior Project Control Manager will manage at least 3 EPC mega projects (min $1B each) or one mega project >$5B.
- Extensive Experience in Offshore Project is required.
- ADNOC project experience is required.
- PMC experience is required.
- Preferred but not mandatory: PMP, CCP.
- Project control (Planning, scheduling, monitoring and control) skills.
- Full understanding of schedule, cost and risk analysis tools and techniques.
- Technical understanding and proficient knowledge related to Oil & Gas business.
