About the Role
Worley is seeking a Technical HSE Specialist for a mega Oil & Gas project in Abu Dhabi. The role requires 15+ years of experience in Loss Prevention Engineering, ADNOC project experience, and offshore project experience.

Responsibilities
- Ensure HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement
- Coordinate and supervise Loss Prevention engineering aspects of the Assiut Hydrocracking Complex Project
- Review and approve Contractor's Loss Prevention Engineering deliverables
- Participate in Layout, P&ID, PHASER, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, Layout Safety Reviews, PSSR, constructability reviews, 3D Model reviews, safety audits, QRA workshops
- Provide technical expertise on Loss Prevention Engineering during all project phases
- Develop and establish systems, procedures and standards for effective project implementation
- Review technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis for Loss Prevention discipline
- Provide assistance and support to Construction, Pre commissioning and Commissioning phases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
- Minimum of 15+ years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- At least 5 years of experience in similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- ADNOC project experience is required
- Offshore project experience is required
- PMC experience is preferable
- Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required

Essential Roles And Responsibilities
- Ensuring HSSEQ goals, objectives and targets are met through personal leadership and involvement.
- Safe delivery and handover of the Project to the Owner, sustainably, safely, on time, within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise the Loss Prevention engineering aspects of the Assiut Hydrocracking Complex Project.
- Supervise, oversee and coordinate regular and timely technical reviews of Loss Prevention related Engineering deliverables.
- Co ordinate and interface with other Technical Departments, Business Units, Operations, and Maintenance functions.
- Provide technical expertise on all subject matter pertaining to Loss Prevention Engineering during all phases of Project.
- Responsible for developing and establishing systems, procedures and standards for effective implementation of the Project.
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities.
- Review and approve Contractor's Loss Prevention Engineering activities.
- Provide PMC Loss Prevention performance data and reports to PMC Management and the Owner.
- Provide technical guidance to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
- Perform calculations for design validation and optimization.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- ADNOC project experience is required.
- Offshore project experience is required.
- PMC experiences are preferrable.
- Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.
