Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, review, and enhancement of a secure, scalable, and interoperable HIS application architecture
- Deliver secure, reliable, high performing HIS solutions that exceed stakeholder expectations
- Lead and govern the full SDLC for HIS initiatives to deliver quality, secure, maintainable applications
- Ensure seamless, secure data exchange across HIS modules and external systems (labs, radiology, pharmacy, payers)
- Operate and harden the middleware/iPaaS
- Govern API lifecycle
- Collaborate with payers for e Claims/e Auth APIs
- Standardize on HL7 v2/FHIR/DICOM manage interface mappings and terminologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Health Informatics, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in HIS support / hospital IT operations
- Experience in support applications and systems in a healthcare environment
- Experience working with EMR/HIS vendor
