- Ensure timely IFC construction comments received from client
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Relevant years of experience in oil and gas offshore construction management
- Minimum 5 years GCC experience preferred
- Demonstrated safety leadership and performance
- Good interpersonal and team engagement skills

Job Scope
- The Lead Construction Engineer provides construction support, ensuring project work is carried out according to client’s fabrication and installation specifications.
- Coordinate with client to ensure proposed construction methods are understood and fit for purpose.
- Support Project Engineers in understanding the construction process throughout the project life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Be conversant with and fully comply with the HSSE plan.
- Promote and drive involvement of Construction in technical design, fabrication, and installation workpack preparation.
- Develop and maintain familiarity with client Construction support providers/contractors.
- Effectively work within a multi discipline collaborative environment.
- Chair and participate in constructability reviews.
- Conduct offshore surveys with design team as required.
- Address fabrication and installation queries and revert with solutions.
- Liaise with project engineers and engineering disciplines.
- Ensure shutdown requirements are clearly identified in workpack.
- Obtain feedback from fabrication contractor and offshore installation team.
- Ensure timely IFC construction comments from client.
- Responsible for transport and installation plans.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated safety leadership and performance.
- Relevant years of experience within oil and gas offshore industry in construction management.
- Bachelor degree is mandatory.
- Experience in Oil and Gas or petrochemical industry mandatory; minimum 5 years GCC experience preferred.
- Good interpersonal, team engagement and ability to influence skills.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise work.
