Role Description

  • The role supports design, build, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and digital advertising channels.
  • Uses Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CDP to build data driven audience segments, develop multichannel journeys, and activate campaigns.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support build and execution of campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Cloud Pages).
  • Support audience segmentation and activation using Salesforce CDP.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (marketing, data, creative, sales).
  • Assist in developing personalized content using AMPscript.
  • Assist in configuring journey orchestration (entry criteria, decision splits, exit logic).
  • Support tracking strategies and compliance with CAN SPAM, CCPA.
  • Conduct QA and UAT for campaign logic, targeting, rendering, data accuracy.
  • Monitor campaign performance, IP reputation, deliverability, and optimize.
  • Stay current on SFMC and Salesforce CDP enhancements.
  • Participate in agile sprint planning and task estimation.

Basic Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field OR equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing automation, CRM, or related area.

Must Have Skills

  • Foundational hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio).
  • Exposure to Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud) or similar customer data platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL; exposure to AMPscript or SOQL preferred.
  • Basic understanding of customer data structures and digital marketing channels (email, SMS).

Good to Have Skills

  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and data visualization platforms.
  • Basic understanding of data governance and customer data privacy (CAN SPAM, CCPA).
  • Exposure to digital advertising strategies within marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies and sprint based delivery.

Professional Certifications

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist) preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud concepts or certification is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, agile environment.
  • Developing ability to communicate campaign results and technical concepts to stakeholders.
