Sr. Application Administrator – Document Management

Application Administrator will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of business-critical applications.

This role involves troubleshooting issues, supporting end-users, managing system updates, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Application Administrator applies advanced knowledge of the applications typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

This position is an individual contributor role.

This position reports to the Business Relationship Manager – Engineering and interacts with Global IT, Global Business Leads, Global Functional Leads, Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Construction.

This position can be located in The Woodlands, TX or Plainfield, IL office.

• Administer and maintain business applications and other enterprise software systems.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Provide tier-2/3 support to end-users, resolving technical issues, and escalating complex problems to vendors or additional IT staff as needed.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations in line with company policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX).
• Coordinate and execute application updates, patches, and upgrades, including testing in staging environments to minimize downtime.
