Responsibilities

• Prepare contract documents and bidder lists and qualify potential bidders.
• Issue requests for quotation to vendors.
• Purchase project materials and services within estimates and schedule requirements.
• Evaluate bids and issue purchase orders.
• Negotiate small- to medium-value regional and international purchase orders.
• Assist with evaluation, award, and conforming processes.
• Resolve simple vendor claims or disputes.
• Solicit budgetary pricing for non-major project estimating and proposals when needed.
• Improve procurement tools, systems, and software.
• Promote HSE requirements and culture.

Qualifications

• A BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical or Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
• Three to five years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• EPC industry experience is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, databases, and MS Office, are required or must be learned quickly.
• Proficiency in contract terms, mathematics, cost-benefit analysis, and value-based decision-making is required.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required.
• JD Edwards experience is preferred.

Workplace and Training

• This is a project site-based role.
• The role requires two to three months of training at the Dubai office.
