Expediting and procurement

• Review purchase order delivery requirements to assure quality and project requirements are met.
• Determine expediting actions and workload to optimize material deliveries against project schedules and shop demands.
• Expedite purchase orders and material test reports accurately and on time.
• Provide direction on material sourcing, contract flow-downs, and supplier compliance documents.

Supplier deliverables and inspections

• Review supplier deliverables for alignment with requirements.
• Compile inspection assignment packages with purchase order, inspection, drawings, and data documents.
• Coordinate source inspections and maintain current inspector and supplier inspection records.
• Perform supplier audits where required.

Project coordination

• Update delivery dates in company systems and distribute weekly expediting reports.
• Ensure supplier delivery of all purchase order items to maintain the project schedule.
• Coordinate with procurement management to identify performance gaps, engineering delays, fabrication problems, delivery delays, and resource issues.
• Coordinate expediting issues across departments, offices, fabrication, and construction teams.

Stakeholder and claims management

• Notify and collaborate with logistics specialists on material movements within CB&I responsibility.
• Maintain effective communications among procurement disciplines, clients, project teams, and suppliers.
• Manage supplier warranty claims, supplier notifications, and related charges or claims.
• Prepare, update, and issue comprehensive progress reports.

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in supply chain and at least 6 years in a similar expediting field within the EPC industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of expediting processes related to procurement.
• Ability to communicate effectively with procurement and non-procurement personnel.
