Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
- Ensure all financial records are accurate, complete and up to date
- Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
- Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure timely closing of books and accuracy of trial balance
- Assist management in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor budget variances and provide analysis with corrective recommendations
- Support strategic decision making through financial insights
- Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other applicable regulations
- Prepare and file tax returns on time
- Maintain proper documentation for tax audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations

- Guide and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff.
- Review work prepared by the accounting team.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Provide financial analysis and reports to management for decision making.
- Support management in financial planning and strategy formulation.
- Present monthly MIS (Management Information System) reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
