Job Description

  • Develop and manage comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for complex construction projects valued at AED 50M and above.
  • Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis using advanced QS software and tools.
  • Administer contracts, including variations, claims management, and procurement oversight.
  • Analyze project performance against budgeted costs and provide regular financial reporting to senior management and clients.
  • Lead and mentor a team of quantity surveyors, ensuring adherence to company standards and professional best practices.
  • Perform risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to project costs and contractual obligations.
  • Manage vendor and supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and optimize procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian construction standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to provide cost effective solutions.
  • Prepare detailed project documentation, including cost reports, valuations, and financial statements.
  • Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor project cash flow and provide forecasting analysis to support financial planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of professional quantity surveying experience in large scale construction projects.
  • Advanced expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with quantity surveying software (Bluebeam, Touchplan, Primavera, or similar platforms).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong data analysis and modeling capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects in the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and local building standards.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, cost control, and value engineering.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven mentoring experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
