About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for the stadium
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures
- Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors
- Manage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards
- Oversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programs
- Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with event organizers and stadium management to ensure safety during sports events and other large gatherings
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends in stadium management
- Perform regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in large scale facilities or stadiums
- In depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to stadium operations, including local Saudi Arabian regulations
- Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams
- Proficiency in HSE software and data management tools
- Familiarity with stadium operations, crowd management, and sports event safety protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- First Aid and CPR certification
