Job Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures for the stadium.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
  • Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for staff and contractors.
  • Manage emergency response planning and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Oversee environmental management initiatives, including waste management and sustainability programs.
  • Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with event organizers and stadium management to ensure safety during sports events and other large gatherings.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends in stadium management.
  • Perform regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HSE role, preferably in large scale facilities or stadiums.
  • In depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to stadium operations, including local Saudi Arabian regulations.
  • Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and emergency response planning.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in HSE software and data management tools.
  • Familiarity with stadium operations, crowd management, and sports event safety protocols.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
