Responsibilities
- Read and understand package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures
- Ensure contractors comply with standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing
- Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment daily resources
- Undertake all site supervision and inspections when required
- Document contractor personnel, equipment, activities, and materials delivery
- Apply and implement all quality controls and quality procedures of the site
- Prepare site measurements and surveying checks
- Monitor conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements
- Monitor Health and Safety of construction works and report violations
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering required; related Degree for Engineer level
- Minimum 7 years of overall experience (minimum 5 years in the UAE)
- Experience in Electrical related type projects
- Good knowledge of electrical methodologies, installation processes, and building codes
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Competent at writing reports in good written English
- Detailed knowledge of construction techniques

Job Summary
- The Electrical Inspector will ensure the contractors are compliant with the contract documents, coordinate on a daily basis with other teams, and process inspection requests and technical submittals.
Job Duties
- Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures.
- Ensuring the contractor(s) are complying with the standards and specifications through observation, measurements, and testing.
- Maintaining records of the contractor manpower and equipment daily resources.
- Undertaking all site supervision and inspections when required.
- Documenting contractor personnel, equipment, activities, location, and means and methods.
- Reporting on materials delivery and implementing site instructions.
- Applying and implementing all quality controls and quality procedures.
- Preparing site measurements and surveying checks.
- Monitoring conformance to quality, performance, and code requirements.
- Monitoring Health and Safety of construction works and reporting violations.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering required; related Degree for Engineer level.
- Good knowledge in basic design requirements, electrical methodologies, installation processes, and building codes.
- Experience in Buildings of all types, particularly horizontal development, mixed use residential and commercial, retail and hospitality.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Competent at writing reports in good written English.
- Detailed knowledge of construction techniques.
Experience
- Experience in Electrical related type projects required.
- Must have experience in Construction Supervision with a Consultancy with a minimum of 7 years of overall experience (minimum 5 years in the UAE).
