Job Description

  • Provides functional assistance and direction to the kitchen operation.
  • Interacts with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinates functions with other F&B department heads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Executive Chef in supervising kitchen employees, facilities, and costs.
  • Control quality levels of production and presentation.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction and cleanliness.
  • Assist in production, preparation, and presentation of all food items.
  • Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
  • Conduct hiring, orientation, coaching, and suspension as needed.
  • Assist in conducting training sessions.
  • Participate in menu preparation and pricing.
  • Inform Executive Chef of operational and personal matters.
  • Supervise food service in outlets.
  • Manage staffing levels and rosters.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety regulations.
