About the Role
Worley seeks a Specialist Rotating Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support for rotating equipment on offshore oil and gas projects. The role involves reviewing contractor deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Champion the Project Safety culture, behaviors and engagement activities
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Engineering issues
- Review and approve contractor key deliverables within Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) discipline
- Review and approve equipment design, system design, testing of materials, specifications, design calculations, drawings, engineering studies, material requisitions, and quantity estimates
- Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors
- Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors
- Attend all Project technical sessions such as Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Engineering design activities
- Supervise and manage the review and approval of Contractor’s work
- Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification, bid evaluation, and performance evaluation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, from an accredited university; or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
- Experience within FEED & EPC experience required
- Experience in PMC roles
- Experience in Offshore Project required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Offshore projects is required
- ADNOC experience is required

- Review and approve within the specified approval durations, the Contractor key deliverables and other works within the Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) discipline.
- Review and approve equipment design and development, system design, testing of materials, specifications and design calculations, designs, drawings and data, engineering studies and reports, material requisitions, material quantity estimates.
- Review and approve key design documents from Vendors, equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors.
- Attend technical meeting with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
- Attend all Project technical sessions by the Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings, 3D Model Review Meeting, Constructability, SIL, EIA, HAZOP and HAZID etc.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractor’s Mechanical (Rotating Equipment) Engineering design activities.
- Supervise and manage the review and approval of Contractor’s work.
- Coordinate the required Engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models.
- Coordinate the technical guidance required to develop new specifications and update existing specifications.
- Coordinate other discipline Engineer’s participation in layout reviews, design reviews, and technical workshops.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, from an accredited university; or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
