Responsibilities
- Analyze wells/reservoirs performance and production forecasts/requirements of various development options
- Develop improved production and completion strategies, workover plans aimed at enhancing production
- Apply integrated approach involving geoscience, reservoir management, drilling & completion to assess wells/reservoirs performance
- Design pilots/appraisal wells and data acquisition plans to reduce risks and uncertainties
- Design & analyses of SCAL/PVT laboratory studies
- Participate in integrated reservoir characterization studies and evaluate development schemes
- Supervise/conduct single well and sector model studies for performance evaluation
- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives
- Provide input for preparation of Department/Section budgets and assist in implementation
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 8 years of experience in field development activities, simulation studies, new technology assessment to enhance production
- Experience in integrated reservoir characterization and development optimization
- Knowledge of surveillance plans and data acquisition

Job Purpose
- Analyze wells / reservoirs performance and production forecasts / requirements of various development options.
- Apply integrated approach involving geo science, reservoir, petroleum engineering, drilling & completion & surface facilities.
- Develop surveillance plans to monitor field performance & the preferred option to enhance production & maximize recovery.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Develop improved production and completion strategies, workover plans aimed at enhancing production.
- Analyze performance of existing wells / reservoirs & potential development concepts and recommend alternative Improved Recovery Options.
- Apply integrated approach involving geoscience, reservoir management, drilling & completion to properly assess wells / reservoirs performance.
- Design pilots / appraisal wells and data acquisition plans required to reduce risks and uncertainties.
- Design & analyses of SCAL / PVT laboratory studies.
- Participate in integrated reservoir characterization studies. Evaluate and optimize development schemes.
- Supervise / Conduct single well and sector model studies for performance evaluation of different completion designs & recovery processes.
Minimum Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor Degree Petroleum Engineering.
- 8 years of experience in field development activities, simulation studies, new technology assessment to enhance production.

- Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
- Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills.
- Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in implementation.
- Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures.
- Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives.
- Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve quality and efficiency.
- Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation.
- Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.
