Role Overview

The HR Operations Specialist supports the implementation of Human Capital strategic initiatives within Human Resources Services.

The role covers employee relations, training, recruitment, talent management, compliance, compensation, internal communications, and operational excellence.

The position reports to the Manager, HR Services within the GGM business unit or function.

Employee Relations and Compliance

  • Investigate employee incidents and violations of company rules, including unauthorized absence and poor timekeeping.
  • Interview employees, document findings, and forward cases to Human Resources for further action when necessary.
  • Implement approved corrective guidance actions, including issuing warning letters and explaining them to employees.
  • Process employee terminations in accordance with contracts, company policy, procedures, and Labor Law.

Leave, Benefits, and Personnel Administration

  • Coordinate employee leave requests between the mine and head office and process approved requests.
  • Follow up on exit and re-entry visa and residence permit applications for non-Saudi employees.
  • Coordinate bank loans, transportation, salary actions, information gathering, and GOSI and other reports.
  • Review leave requests against entitlements, contracts, policies, procedures, and Labor Law.
  • Ensure timely processing of applicable payments, overtime, and deductions.
  • Coordinate vacations, advance payments, and other payments or deductions with HR in Riyadh.

Recruitment and Development

  • Support safety goals through training and reinforcement.
  • Communicate training and development needs to head office.
  • Coordinate recruitment requisitions, application screening, interviews, and selected-candidate processing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or an equivalent field.
  • Three years of experience in human resources.
