Principal Specialist, Trading Management reporting to the Director of Commercial and Physical Trading.

The position supports portfolio strategy, optimization, performance evaluation, and shareholder value creation.
What You Will Deliver
- Develop portfolio strategies covering asset allocation, risk management, and investment prioritization.
- Evaluate mining projects through financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic fit analysis.
- Monitor project and investment performance, KPIs, and opportunities for value creation.
- Maintain portfolio models, dashboards, and reporting tools for performance and risk tracking.
- Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and stress testing for market, commodity, and geopolitical risks.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical departments to gather portfolio analysis inputs.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management and the board on investments, divestments, optimization, and capital allocation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.
- A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- CFA, FRM, or PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in portfolio management, investment management, corporate finance, or strategic planning is required.
- Mining industry or related-sector experience is preferred.

- Proficiency in financial analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to develop robust financial models and present findings clearly and persuasively.
