The Spa Therapist works according to the standards, core values, vision, and goals of Kempinski and Kempinski The Spa.
The role ensures clients receive requested treatments and follow-up recommendations according to spa SOPs and policies.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide treatments according to the Kempinski The Spa treatment menu, standards, and outlined protocols.
- Maintain working knowledge of the processes, benefits, and outcomes of all treatments and spa products.
- Adjust treatments according to each guest's health assessment.
- Deliver special, individualized, and unique service to spa guests.
- Thoughtfully upsell and recommend treatments, retail products, and homecare.
- Begin and end treatments on time.
- Handle and rectify guest queries or small complaints confidently.
- Ensure guest comfort and a genuine, welcoming environment.
- Complete handovers in the guest journey according to documented standards.
- Follow up on treatment experiences and act on discrepancies.
- Maintain the setup, hygiene, and cleanliness of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all guest communications.
Additional Duties
Perform other spa positions' responsibilities when required.
Report all accidents and guest incidents promptly and professionally to the Spa Manager.
Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks according to the needs of the business and hotel.
Requirements
- Ability to provide spa treatments according to the spa treatment menu, standards, and documented protocols.
- Maintain working knowledge of the processes, benefits, and outcomes of spa treatments and products.
- Adjust treatments appropriately based on the guest's health assessment.
- Handle guest queries and small complaints confidently and professionally.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality in communications with guests.
