Company Description
SLS The Red Sea is a luxury lifestyle resort on the Red Sea coast and part of Ennismore's hospitality portfolio.
The resort includes 150 keys, five food and beverage venues, and a luxury spa sanctuary.
The team is being built to support the continued development of the destination.
Role Overview
The Spa Therapist creates personalized relaxation and well-being experiences through professional treatments and thoughtful guest care.
The role works closely with the Spa team to deliver treatments and ensure guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform massage, facial, and body treatments according to professional certifications and spa protocols.
- Welcome guests, understand their needs, and personalize treatments where appropriate.
- Recommend spa treatments, wellness experiences, and home-care products.
- Build guest relationships and support service and retail sales targets.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain products, equipment, linens, cleanliness, hygiene, presentation, and safety.
- Monitor supplies, communicate replenishment needs, and coordinate with the wider Spa team.
- Support opening, closing, training, and general spa operational duties.
- Communicate guest feedback, special requests, and operational concerns to the Spa Supervisor.
- Maintain required professional licenses and certifications.
- Follow grooming, service, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid professional certification or license in massage therapy, beauty therapy, esthetics, or a related wellness discipline.
- At least one to two years of experience as a Spa Therapist.
- Strong knowledge of massage, body treatments, wellness practices, and treatment products.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and professional treatment standards.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage appointments in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
- A warm, polished, professional, detail-oriented, and organized approach.
