Position Summary

  • As a Spa Receptionist at The Ritz Carlton Doha, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa.
  • You will deliver exceptional service by welcoming guests, managing appointments, coordinating spa operations, and ensuring a seamless luxury experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide a personalized and professional spa experience.
  • Handle spa reservations, appointments, and guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Explain spa treatments, facilities, packages, and promotional offers to guests.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and process payments accurately.
  • Maintain guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules with therapists and spa attendants.
  • Promote and upsell spa services, memberships, retail products, and special packages.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and maintained to luxury standards.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support daily spa operations, inventory control, and administrative tasks.
  • Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and grooming standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality related qualification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel, spa, wellness center, or customer service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa reservation systems.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Requirements

  • Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software.
  • Call guests to confirm scheduled services.
  • Answer questions about available services.
  • Update reservations/cancellations list throughout the day.
  • Check in guests for appointments and provide general spa orientation.
  • Promote and sell spa/salon services.
  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
  • Process guest payments and obtain payment authorization.
  • Accept and log cash tips for employees.
  • Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting.
  • Notify Engineering of maintenance and repair needs.
