About the Role

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Less than 1 year related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; additional languages an advantage

Position Summary
- As a Spa Receptionist at The Ritz Carlton Doha, you will be the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa.
- You will deliver exceptional service by welcoming guests, managing appointments, coordinating spa operations, and ensuring a seamless luxury experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide a personalized and professional spa experience.
- Handle spa reservations, appointments, and guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Explain spa treatments, facilities, packages, and promotional offers to guests.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and process payments accurately.
- Maintain guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information.
- Coordinate appointment schedules with therapists and spa attendants.
- Promote and upsell spa services, memberships, retail products, and special packages.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and maintained to luxury standards.
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support daily spa operations, inventory control, and administrative tasks.
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and grooming standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality related qualification preferred.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, spa, wellness center, or customer service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa reservation systems.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Requirements
- Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software.
- Call guests to confirm scheduled services.
- Answer questions about available services.
- Update reservations/cancellations list throughout the day.
- Check in guests for appointments and provide general spa orientation.
- Promote and sell spa/salon services.
- Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies.
- Process guest payments and obtain payment authorization.
- Accept and log cash tips for employees.
- Balance, scan, and drop receipts with Accounting.
- Notify Engineering of maintenance and repair needs.
