- Experience overseeing kitchen team members, including training and performance management
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation rules
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Job Overview
- As a Sous Chef you must be intimately familiar with all the activities involved in kitchen operations and be prepared to step in and cover all eventualities if called upon.
- You will need to be able to prepare and cook a wide range of international dishes, including French, Italian, and fusion cooking.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present food that meets specs and customer expectations.
- Maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen to help guarantee the safety of your entire team and visitors.
- Communicate clearly with your team in order to provide high quality meals to customers on time.
- Keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions.
- Help with menu planning, inventory control, and supply management.
- Oversee the kitchen team members, which will involve preparing, scheduling and delivering training, managing team member performance, ensuring that the kitchen safety standards are up to date and that team members are complying with health, safety and sanitation rules.
Qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen and pull together as a team when needed.
- A passion for delivering tasty and well presented meals to customers each and every time.
- Willingness to get stuck in, learn new skills and help out in different areas of the kitchen when needed.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
