The Sous Chef plays a key role in kitchen operations, food quality, taste, presentation, and guest dining experiences.
The role includes leading kitchen teams, executing menus, and supporting dining, banquet, and event operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage kitchen operations and culinary teams.
- Develop and execute creative menus for all dining outlets.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and inventory control.
- Establish culinary policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Train and develop the kitchen team.
- Oversee smooth kitchen execution during service hours.
- Create and adapt recipes for dietary and cultural preferences.
- Participate in culinary events, promotions, and guest interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments on banquet and event culinary needs.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures and support environmental conservation.
