Role Overview
Provide a warm and welcoming experience to hotel guests throughout their stay.
Handle check-in, check-out, guest inquiries, reservations, and guest records.
Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver efficient, courteous, and prompt service from arrival through departure.
- Greet guests by name when known and escort them to their rooms when appropriate.
- Conduct in-room and hotel familiarization and assist with guest inquiries and requests.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, operating hours, promotions, and events.
- Monitor daily rate and occupancy levels for accurate decision-making.
- Follow front desk cashiering standards and accurately handle incidental charges using computerized front office systems.
- Process guest accounts accurately from check-in through check-out.
- Protect guest privacy and refrain from disclosing guest details.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current events.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety standards and company procedures.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current events.
- Ability to process guest accounts accurately from check-in through check-out, including incidental charges.
- Ability to protect guest privacy and avoid disclosing guest details.
- Professional and courteous communication with guests and hotel departments.
