Kimpton Sevn Dubai is seeking a Sous Chef for its pre-opening signature restaurant Apsley, inspired by British heritage and European bistro culture. The role supports the Chef de Cuisine in culinary execution, operational leadership, and team development to deliver a sophisticated dining experience.

- Support daily culinary operations across all meal periods from breakfast through dinner
- Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members
- Execute contemporary British and Mediterranean inspired menus
- Maintain consistency in flavour, presentation, and quality standards
- Assist with food cost management and inventory control
- Maintain HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Support kitchen setup and operational readiness for pre opening
Requirements
- Culinary qualification or equivalent professional certification preferred
- 3–5 years culinary experience in upscale or luxury dining environments
- Minimum 1–2 years in a Sous Chef or senior supervisory role
- Experience in British, European, Mediterranean, or bistro style dining preferred
- Pre opening experience is an advantage
- GCC/Dubai experience beneficial

Key Responsibilities
- Support daily culinary operations across all meal periods
- Ensure smooth service execution from breakfast through dinner
- Maintain consistency in flavour, presentation, and quality standards
- Supervise, train, and motivate culinary team members
- Conduct daily briefings and service preparations
- Execute contemporary British and Mediterranean inspired menus
- Assist with food cost management and inventory control
- Maintain HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Support kitchen setup and operational readiness for pre opening
Qualifications
- Culinary qualification or equivalent professional certification preferred
