Role Overview

  • At Kimpton Sevn Dubai, we are looking for a Banquet Manager who thrives in structured complexity—someone who can translate high volume events into seamless, polished, and emotionally intelligent guest experiences.
  • This role sits at the intersection of operations, service excellence, and event storytelling.
  • Reporting to the Hotel Manager and Cluster Director of Restaurants & Bars, you will be responsible for ensuring that every banquet, conference, meeting, social gathering, and special event is delivered with consistency, clarity, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Flawless execution of all meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and special events.
  • Strong coordination between Restaurants & Bars, Culinary, Events, and Operations teams.
  • Consistent delivery of luxury lifestyle service standards across all event formats.
  • Structured planning from event confirmation through execution and post event follow up.

Your Day to Day

  • Oversee execution of conferences, meetings, banquets, weddings, and special events.
  • Coordinate setup, service delivery, event flow, and breakdown activities.
  • Ensure alignment between all operational departments throughout event execution.
  • Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction during events.
  • Lead banquet service teams during events and daily operations.
  • Assign responsibilities based on event requirements and staffing levels.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop banquet colleagues and supervisors.
  • Liaise with clients, event organizers, and meeting planners before and during events.
  • Ensure compliance with service standards, SOPs, health and safety requirements.
  • Support budget management and labor productivity targets.
  • Control operational costs while maintaining service excellence.
  • Support banquet facility setup and operational planning for pre opening.

What We Need From You

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Events Management, Hotel Management, or related discipline preferred.
  • 5–8 years of progressive Conference & Banquet or Events Operations experience.
  • Previous supervisory or managerial leadership experience required.
  • Experience within luxury hotels, lifestyle brands, resorts, or premium event venues preferred.
  • Pre opening experience highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of banquet operations, event logistics, and service excellence.
  • GCC and Dubai hospitality experience beneficial.
