About the Role
Emirates seeks a Solution Architect to join the Architecture Community of Practice, architecting and designing high-level system solutions. The role requires 8+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems and expertise in technologies like Java, Cloud, and AI/ML.

Responsibilities
- Develop optimal, fit for purpose, and aligned IT architecture solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Develop Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines in the information, application, and technology domains.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, identify and evaluate relevant technologies and tools, and showcase business value by executing Proof of Concepts.
- Establish policy, guidelines, and strategy for selecting system components and their designs.
- Guide, mentor, and motivate the development team members in adopting good engineering practices, tools, and techniques.
- Conduct architecture reviews of vendor products as part of the selection process and other critical production applications.
- Develop logical infrastructure solutions in alignment with the technology standards.
- Collaborate closely with Manager Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment of information, application, and technology architecture.
- Own, manage, and maintain the architecture roadmap and runways of small to medium sized initiatives, products, environments, and/or platforms.
- Drive architecture decisions and be accountable for their implications regarding solution costs, delivery schedules, application complexity, technical debt, and overall solution performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent IT related discipline
- 8+ years of experience in designing and developing large scale, complex, distributed, mission critical applications in heterogeneous environments

Job Purpose

In This Role, You Will

Qualification
