Role Overview
Akkodis is hiring for a senior full-stack software engineering role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role transforms numerical, scientific, and simulation models into scalable commercial-grade software products.
The position requires 7+ years of experience, strong Python expertise, full-stack capability, CI/CD ownership, and scientific-computing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Scale and modernize full-stack applications into robust commercial-grade products for external clients.
- Own automated deployment pipelines, regression testing suites, and containerized releases for restricted or offline environments.
- Package mathematical, modeling, and simulation algorithms into reusable libraries with stable APIs.
- Build data pipelines for engineering test data such as HDF5 or TDMS and integrate with real-time hardware systems.
- Lead technical code reviews, enforce design and security standards, and contribute to technical publications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience building and shipping production-grade software.
- Strong Python proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, Node.js, or .NET and frontend tools such as React or Angular.
