About the role
The SDET II shapes and executes an automation-first quality strategy across web, API, workflow, and AI-driven systems.
The role is hands-on and technically deep, with ownership of automation and release quality.
What you will do
- Lead and standardize test automation practices across teams and services.
- Build scalable automation frameworks with Playwright and SerenityJS.
- Develop JavaScript or TypeScript automation for web, API, and workflow validation.
- Maintain REST API automation with Postman or equivalent tools.
- Integrate automation into Jenkins or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Enforce quality gates and block releases on automation or sanity failures.
- Monitor executions, analyse failures, and drive root-cause resolution.
- Review automation code for consistency, reusability, and maintainability.
- Define acceptance criteria and risk coverage during design and story elaboration.
- Mentor QA and engineering teams on automation practices.
