Role Profile

  • Responsible for increasing reach, conversion and overall ROI of branding and promotional content through paid digital channels.
  • Ensure campaigns make measurable commercial contribution to Starbucks through increased customer acquisition, loyalty program membership, ecommerce channels, and footfall.
  • Play crucial role in ongoing digital transformation of Starbucks MENA and contribute to development of digital marketing team.

Key Performance Areas

  • Own and be accountable for paid digital marketing strategy, budgeting and performance across established and emerging channels.
  • Ensure paid digital marketing strategy is aligned with driving Starbucks’ top line growth through customer reach, acquisition, and loyalty program membership.
  • Manage development of paid digital channel media plans and allocate spend appropriately.
  • Contribute to set up of new digital campaigns, including briefing and agreeing requirements.
  • Work with internal and external teams to devise technical approach for building loyalty membership, driving store traffic, and encouraging retention.
  • Analyze results, identify actionable opportunities, and drive performance and scale.
  • Ensure campaign reports are high quality, compiled timely, and distributed effectively.
  • Support definition and development of online attribution model and post impression marketing analysis.
  • Collaborate with central digital marketing team for excellent execution and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with whole Starbucks marketing team to ensure campaigns are digital first and mobile centric.
  • Deliver performance marketing approach focused on test and learn ethos, such as A/B testing.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Digital media landscape and trends, proficient knowledge of digital analytics (GA) and Google Ad tools.
  • Proficient knowledge of latest social media advertising tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of Google Merchant Centre.
  • Strong understanding of MarTech landscape and likely evolution.
  • Digital native content creation.
  • Over 5 years focused on end to end delivery of cross channel digital campaigns and 1 2 years managing others.
  • Experience as digital marketing manager with a fast paced omnichannel retailer is essential.
  • Experience in digital media/advertising agency is a valuable plus.
  • Experience building up a team is appreciated.
  • Experience with large regional and matrix organizations is a plus.
  • Strong track record of developing and rolling out digital marketing campaigns that outperform objectives.
  • Proven experience with product/services or digital product launches (apps) is required.

Skills

  • Media planning; expert knowledge of digital and social channels; creative judgment.
  • Marketing performance management and reporting.
  • In depth knowledge of Google tools (Adwords, Analytics, etc.).
  • Mobile marketing and remarketing; programmatic advertising; budget management.
  • Good understanding of ecommerce is a valuable plus.
  • Ability to work quickly, responsively and with openness to embrace new ideas.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively; stakeholder management, team leadership.
  • Agency and partnership management; project management.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
