Organize and coordinate metering engineering plans and activities for OES projects.
Provide technical expertise in metering equipment and instrumentation integrity to support project readiness and safe start-up.
Metering Engineering
- Develop and implement metering plans, engineering specifications, and standards in line with project specifications and operational needs.
- Integrate metering systems into facility designs and coordinate installation, calibration, and testing of metering devices.
- Conduct audits and inspections to verify accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
Contracts and Stakeholders
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on metering equipment quality and reliability.
- Prepare metering contract scopes and technical specifications and contribute to tender evaluations, budgets, and audits.
- Interface with regulators, certification bodies, vendors, and external agencies.
Project Readiness and Improvement
- Support risk assessments focused on safety, reliability, and environmental considerations.
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry practices and recommend innovative metering methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation or electronics engineering.
- Six years of relevant oil and gas, petrochemical, process plant, or power plant experience, including at least four years in flow measurement and metering.
- Competence with flow measurement and metering software, including Kelton flow calculation and S600 flow computer applications.
- Awareness of ISO standards for flow measurement.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with relevant software tools and specifications.
- Familiarity with Meridium or similar data management software.
