Snowmaker - Control Room Operator Burke Mountain Resort | East Burke, VT Help Make the Snow. Keep the Mountain Moving. Join the Burke Mountain team as a Control Room Operator and help keep our snowmaking operation running safely and efficiently. No prior experience required — we’ll train you! What You’ll Do: *Operate pumps, compressors, and remote snowmaking systems *Monitor air/water pressure, river flow, and electrical usage *Communicate with on-hill personnel *Monitor weather and changing conditions *Perform other duties as needed What We’re Looking For: *Dependable, safety-minded team player *Comfortable working outdoors in cold and changing conditions *Able to learn equipment and computer-controlled systems *Basic math and problem-solving skills *Available to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours Physical requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally more than 100 lbs., along with walking, standing, climbing, and other physical activities.
