Hotel Room Inspector

Burke Mountain Resort is Hiring for a Room Inspector.

The Room Inspector plays a key role in ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. This position inspects rooms, coordinates daily housekeeping assignments, supports team training, and assists with housekeeping functions as needed to deliver an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities: *Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. *Verify room status, identify discrepancies, and update the property management system as needed. *Prepare housekeeping boards, assign daily tasks, and coordinate team breaks and lunches. *Complete work orders and communicate maintenance issues promptly. *Assist with Room Attendant and Houseperson duties when needed. *Support the onboarding and training of housekeeping team members. *Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. *Promote a positive work environment and help maintain team productivity and morale. *Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: *High school diploma or GED preferred. *Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or related experience preferred. *Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills. *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. *Basic computer skills and willingness to learn property management and housekeeping systems. *Reliable attendance and a professional, positive attitude. *Physical Requirements *Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. *Ability to work throughout hotel and resort facilities, including stairs and outdoor areas. Work Environment: This position is located in a four-season resort environment and requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules. Employees may work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including winter weather and uneven or slippery surfaces.
