Role overview

Alpha is hiring a Site Operations Coordinator to manage the non-academic operations of an in-person campus.

The role owns the operational heartbeat of the campus and directly affects student well-being, staff effectiveness, and parent trust.

This is a hands-on, on-site role in a dynamic environment requiring calm judgment, urgency, and service orientation.

What you will do

  • Serve as a primary contact for parents, students, and staff, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Manage campus safety operations, including access control, health incidents, drills, documentation, and parent communication.
  • Oversee attendance, facilities coordination, transportation, and office logistics.
  • Support onboarding and training for new staff.
  • Manage student devices and campus technology as the primary on-site tech liaison and Google Administrator.
  • Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient campus operations that improve the experience of students, staff, and parents.

Basic requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any field is required.
  • At least one year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or a similar operational role is required.
  • Candidates must be comfortable with basic technology troubleshooting, device management, and account administration.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, service orientation, emotional intelligence, and calm judgment are required.
  • Candidates must be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and independently own campus operations.
  • Candidates must be available to work in person at an Alpha campus or willing to relocate.

Workplace

  • This is an in-person, on-site role located at one of Alpha's campuses.
  • Listed campus locations include Greenwich, Connecticut; Santa Barbara, California; Malibu, California; Boston, Massachusetts; South Bay, California; and Santa Monica, California.

Compensation and employment

  • This is a full-time W2 employee position with benefits.
  • The compensation level is $90,000 USD per year.
  • The posting states that payment is made weekly.
