Position Summary
Responsible for monitoring and supervising assigned projects on a daily basis, reviewing and evaluating project progress, design drawings, materials, submittals, and outage requirements, while ensuring compliance with Safety and Loss Prevention requirements, witnessing testing and commissioning activities, and preparing regular progress reports and periodic statements. The role requires solid experience in EHV/HV project construction activities related to Substations, Underground Cables, Overhead Transmission Lines, Civil, Electro-Mechanical, and Protection works.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise assigned projects on a daily basis.
- Review and evaluate project progress.
- Review design drawings, materials, and submittals.
- Review outage requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Safety and Loss Prevention requirements.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities.
- Report project progress status on a regular basis.
- Prepare and update periodic reports and statements.
Technical Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of EHV/HV project construction activities related to Substations, Underground Cables, Overhead Transmission Lines, Civil, Electro-Mechanical, and Protection works.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in EHV/HV project construction activities related to Substations, Underground Cables, Overhead Transmission Lines, Civil, Electro-Mechanical, and Protection works.
- For Saudi nationals: minimum five (5) years of experience, including at least three (3) years as a Site Engineer.
