Position Summary
Responsible for supervising and managing assigned construction projects throughout various project phases, including planning, coordination, progress review, quality control, safety compliance, testing and commissioning, and contractor invoice processing.
The role requires solid experience in EHV/HV construction management covering Substations, Underground Cables, Overhead Transmission Lines, Civil, and Electro-Mechanical Projects.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform project management services by supervising assigned construction project(s) throughout various project phases.
- Establish project and quality control procedures.
- Prepare and monitor work schedules.
- Identify outage requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors and SEC departments.
- Review project progress.
- Review design drawings, materials, and submittals.
- Ensure compliance with Safety and Loss Prevention requirements.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities.
- Process contractors’ invoices.
Technical Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of EHV/HV construction management of Substations, Underground Cables, Overhead Transmission Lines, Civil, and Electro-Mechanical Projects.
Minimum Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum sixteen (16) years of experience, including at least eight (8) years in a large power utility company as a Project Manager in EHV/HV construction management of Substations, Underground Cables, Overhead Transmission Lines, Civil, and Electro-Mechanical Projects.
- For Saudi nationals: minimum eight (8) years of experience, including at least four (4) years as a Project Manager.
- For expatriates: PMI certification in at least one of the following is required: PMP, CAPM, PgMP, or RMP.
