Role Overview
Site engineer role focused on interior fit-out execution, coordination, quality, safety, materials, reporting, and authority interfaces.
Site Execution and Coordination
- Execute daily site activities according to approved drawings and project specifications.
- Supervise civil, joinery, gypsum, flooring, and finishing works.
- Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals and raise RFIs for discrepancies.
- Coordinate with designers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
MEP Integration
- Coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and ELV works.
- Ensure MEP services align with interior layouts and finishing requirements.
- Support testing, commissioning, and authority inspections.
Materials and Quality
- Prepare material requisitions and follow up with procurement.
- Verify material deliveries, quality, and proper storage.
- Conduct inspections across trades and maintain checklists, ITPs, and inspection records.
- Report and close NCRs and snags promptly.
HSE and Reporting
- Enforce safety rules and compliance with HSE plans.
- Conduct toolbox talks, monitor safe work practices, and report incidents.
- Prepare daily site reports, weekly progress updates, and site diaries.
- Track manpower, materials, and work progress against the schedule.
Client and Authority Coordination
- Attend site meetings and present progress updates.
- Manage inspections and approvals with consultants and clients.
- Support submissions and inspections with DM, DCD, DEWA, DU/Etisalat, DDA, and Trakhees.
- Ensure works comply with UAE authority regulations.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,380.82–AED 9,715.25 per month.
Requirements
- Ability to execute site activities in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Ability to review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals and raise RFIs for discrepancies.
- Ability to coordinate civil, joinery, gypsum, flooring, finishing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, and ELV works.
- Ability to maintain inspection records, checklists, ITPs, and close NCRs and snags.
- Ability to enforce HSE plans, conduct toolbox talks, and monitor safe work practices.
- Ability to coordinate inspections, approvals, and submissions with clients, consultants, and UAE authorities.
