Job Summary
Oversee and manage day-to-day construction activities at assigned project sites.
Ensure work complies with approved design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Supervise site personnel and labour and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities and the labour workforce, ensuring safe execution, proper sequencing, and required workmanship.
- Ensure construction work follows approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and standards, taking corrective action for deviations.
- Review engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications and maintain current reference documents for the workforce.
- Coordinate daily work scope, deliveries, and technical matters with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks and ensure quality concerns are documented and resolved.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, conduct safety checks, and report incidents or unsafe acts.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain records of activities, workforce deployment, material usage, and site issues.
- Monitor progress against the programme and report delays, resource constraints, risks, and recommended actions.
- Assist with construction planning, scheduling, and look-ahead programme preparation.
