Role Overview
The Light Duty Driver supports construction operations by transporting personnel, documents, tools, materials, and other operational requirements.
The role reports to the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, or Transport Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company cars, vans, and pickup vehicles as authorized.
- Transport personnel, materials, tools, documents, and equipment between offices, project sites, warehouses, suppliers, and other destinations.
- Keep the vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy and maintain accurate trip, mileage, fuel, delivery, and maintenance records.
- Follow routes and schedules, use navigation systems where required, and comply with UAE traffic and site safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment while following safety procedures.
Workplace and Schedule
- Employment is full-time.
- Work is performed in person in the UAE and involves transportation between offices, project sites, warehouses, suppliers, and other locations.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,800 to AED 2,200 per month.
Requirements
- Ability to safely operate company cars, vans, and pickup vehicles as authorized.
- Commitment to punctuality, vehicle care, and a high standard of road safety.
- Ability to comply with UAE traffic laws, company driving policies, site regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Ability to assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment when required.
