Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor all steel structure erection and installation activities on site
- Review construction drawings, shop drawings, and method statements before execution
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved procedures
- Inspect steel fabrication, erection, bolting, welding, and alignment works
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during construction
- Conduct site inspections and ensure corrective actions for non conforming work
- Coordinate with surveyors for layout, leveling, and structural alignment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Review material deliveries and verify compliance with approved specifications
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource management
- Prepare quantity take offs, material requests, and work completion reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects with significant steel structure works
- Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, fabrication, welding, and bolting techniques
- Ability to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards and quality requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects, with significant experience in steel structure works.
- Experience working on industrial, commercial, warehouse, or high rise steel structure projects in the UAE is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, fabrication, welding, and bolting techniques.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Knowledge of construction sequencing and site management.
- Experience with QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project (preferred), Basic knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
